Supporting Apeksha Cancer Hospital

At Aknara Water Front, we believe that true hospitality extends beyond welcoming our guests. It also means caring for the communities around us.

As part of our ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in Sri Lanka, Aknara Water Front carried out a charity donation to Apeksha Cancer Hospital, Maharagama, on 31 July 2026. Grocery packs and rare injections (vials) were donated to the “Children’s Residential Wards” and the “Emergency Ward”, with the aim of offering meaningful support to patients and families during challenging times.

This initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of the entire Aknara staff, together with the active involvement and support of our management team. Their collective effort reflected the spirit of compassion, teamwork and social responsibility that remains at the heart of Aknara.

Through initiatives such as this, Aknara Water Front continues its commitment to community welfare, charitable giving and responsible hospitality in Sri Lanka. We believe that even a simple act of kindness can bring comfort, hope and a reminder that no one stands alone.
